Marvel's Hall H Panel Recap: All the Big News from Comic-Con 2026

Marvel's Big Comic-Con 2026 Announcements Marvel Studios came back to Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con 2026 with lots of exciting news about upcoming movies. Marvel boss Kevin Feige started the show by giving fans a sneak peek at what's coming next for the Marvel movies — from the huge upcoming film "Avengers: Doomsday" to brand-new projects, like a Ghost Rider movie starring Ryan Gosling and a third Black Panther movie directed by Ryan Coogler. "Today, we're mainly going to talk about movies," Feige told the crowd, "because that is what brings us together in the world." Here are the biggest highlights from the event: Avengers: Endgame Returns to Theaters Before "Avengers: Doomsday" comes out, fans can watch "Avengers: Endgame" again in theaters starting September 25. This special re-release will include brand-new scenes that connect it to "Doomsday." Feige said, "2019 was a very long time ago. The world's a different place. But reminding all of us what it was like to be in that theater, cheering along and enjoying that crazy enthusiasm, is why we're re-releasing Avengers: Endgame on September 25." Ghost Rider Movie Announced In a surprise reveal, Marvel announced a brand-new Ghost Rider movie starring Ryan Gosling. It will be directed by Shawn Levy (who also made "Deadpool & Wolverine") and will come out in 2028. Levy explained, "We spent a lot of time last year making Star Wars: Starfighter. And as Ryan started talking about his vision for this character, we started riffing, and I finally said, 'Bro, let's ride.' So guys, we'll see you in 2028." Spider-Man: Brand New Day The next Spider-Man movie, "Spider-Man: Brand New Day," comes out July 31. Actor Jon Bernthal (who plays the Punisher) came on stage and showed fans a special preview clip. It showed his character teaming up with Tom Holland's Spider-Man to fight the Hulk (played by Mark Ruffalo). Avengers: Doomsday This was a huge moment — the cast and directors of "Avengers: Doomsday" (coming out December 18) came on stage. Directors Joe and Anthony Russo were joined by a huge group of actors, including Robert Downey Jr., Pedro Pascal, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, and many more. They all took a giant selfie with the audience. Fans in the crowd were given Doctor Doom masks and capes to wear. When Robert Downey Jr. (who plays Doctor Doom) spoke, the whole room turned green with light. He joked, "It's not easy being green. I need a lot of help. I need this whole family around me to finally assist me in being an arch-enemy, which is daunting." He also looked back on 2024, when his role as Doctor Doom was first announced at Comic-Con. He added, "When y'all had faith in me two years ago, you lifted me up, and I think we made something real special. But decisions will have to be made. Perhaps you're on the side of the good guys, or perhaps you'll have to consider the alternative." Then, in a fun surprise, a grey-colored Deadpool jumped up from the audience — it was actually actor Ryan Reynolds in costume! He asked the cast funny questions and hinted that he might want a role in the movie too. New Black Panther Movie Director Ryan Coogler announced he is returning to make a third "Black Panther" movie. Actors Letitia Wright and Winston Duke joined him on stage. Coogler revealed that actor David Jonsson (known for "The Long Walk" and "Alien: Romulus") will play the new Black Panther. In the story, he plays the son of T'Challa (the character played by the late Chadwick Boseman). The new movie will show his character growing up and stepping into this role. When Jonsson walked on stage, the crowd gave him a standing ovation. He said, "I want to say thank you so much. Thank you Ryan, thank you Kevin [Feige], thank you to this amazing family that I have the honor and the privilege and the blessing to join. I actually don't want to say too much because I want to let the screen do the talking. But believe me, the honor is entirely mine."              ghost rider
